Happy Fourth Birthday GOF

With the Garden of Friendship celebrating it's Fourth Birthday, these pages are dedicated to the Garden and all it's members and the many friends I have made within our Garden Gates over the past four years.

When I founded the Garden, I wanted something "different" than the other groups were offering at that time, I wanted a haven for friendship, a community where all members interacted as friends with no prejudices and thus, the Garden of Friendship was founded.

During the past four years, the Garden has seen many changes as have I in my personal life, and we have both persevered. Not a day goes by when I don't give thanks for the Garden and what it has become to not only myself, but to many other members as well.

When I founded the Garden, I had a successful career in sales and marketing with a national computer manufacturer. Six months after the Garden was founded, I was in an automobile accident which changed my life. I managed to work through the pain for the first year, but have been disabled for the last 2 1/2 years.

Since then, I have been pretty well home ridden and I thank God every day that I have the Garden to fill the void in my days, and my online friends to bring me smiles and sunshine each day.

To all the Garden Members, Happy Birthday... and Thank You for the role you play in the Garden of Friendship's success. I look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you all!
