They are German Shepherd / Golden Retriever mix. We built a new house in the fall of 2005 and I'm not sure if we were more excited about moving into a new home or finally having an opportunity to have our own dogs.
When we were almost ready to move into our new home, we started looking for puppies. A friend recommended we visit Snookum's Pets. It was there we found Buddy and Brandy. I fell in love with Brandy the first time I saw her photo above. There were two pups left in their litter and although Buddy was a little "goofy" looking, we didn't want him to be left alone so we purchased both puppies. We ordered our puppies and because our house wasn't yet ready, Snookum's Pets agreed to keep the puppies for an extra two weeks for us. We had previously lived in a trailer park and were not allowed to have dogs on the premises.
